A weary Dr. Bob rests against the (finally!) finished "Founding Fathers" Artcar on 3/20/06. Now off to the Virginia Festival of the Book in Charlottesville!

The "Founding Fathers" Artcar by Dr. Bob Hieronimus

The Theme is Spiritual Vision and the Founding of a Nation

The “Founding Fathers” Artcar by Dr. Bob Hieronimus is driving around town! Completed under the wire for its debut on March 25, 2006 at the American Visionary Arts Museum in Baltimore. Dr. Bob was one of the presenters that day at FortNite ‘06 where he gave a visual tour around the car through a powerpoint presentation. The themes the car are based on his new book, FOUNDING FATHERS, SECRET SOCIETIES: Freemasons, Illuminati, Rosicrucians, and the Decoding of the Great Seal. Check our website for more information on the book: SecretDestiny.org.

Unlike many Artcars (which transform “junker” cars into beautiful creations), the “Founding Fathers” car started out as a class-act: a 1983 Mercedes SD sedan. The design shows the lesser-known influences on our founders as read through our nation's symbols of flags and great seals. Particularly highlighted are the hidden influences of the League of the Iroquois Indians on our nation’s form of government. This is Dr. Bob’s first Artcar in over 20 years. Check out his Woodstock Bus and other painted autos in our Art Gallery.

Dr. Bob will be driving the "Founding Fathers" car in several Art Car Parades in 2006 including Artscape and the Baltimore Book Fest. Click here for Dr. Bob’s schedule of appearances in 2006.

Above: the hood of the car has begun to materialize. The Great Tree of Peace is seen crowned with the eye in the triangle. Soon to follow will be George Washington's signature and the name of Deganawidah, one of the leaders of the League of the Iroquois. On the left, above, the Owings Mills Times is photographing Zohara painting the front bumper. On the right, Dr. Bob is captured painting the rear bumper on March 10, 2006. The story will run in the Owings Mills Times on Thursday, March 23rd.
