The Feb ‘06 Photos of the "Founding Fathers" Artcar
by Dr. Bob Hieronimus

These photos show Dr. Bob’s progress on the passenger “flag side” of his Artcar “Founding Fathers” in February 2006.

Dr. Bob showing the passenger side of the car almost completed on 2/15/06.

Progress through February 3, 2006. Bob is painting in the Hebrew lettering in the banner held by the eagle.

Early February unfinished eagle - see the turtle of the Native Americans in the breast of the American eagle.

Mid-February: the eagle, banner and turtle are done and the third flag is begun.

Above: Progress through February 15, 2006. The passenger side of the car shows how the League of the Iroquois Indians are one of the hidden layers behind the evolution of our national identity as we see the Union Jack evolving through the various stages of the American Flag.

February 26, 2006.The rear of the car shows the relationship between Canassatego, one of our Native American Founding Fathers and Ben Franklin, who took great council from the League of Iroquois.

Trunk of the car on February 26, 2006. It is from Canassatego that Ben Franklin learned about “many arrows bound together” cannot be broken which inspired his “Join or Die” campaign.

End of February 2006: the passenger side is finished. See the additions to the constellation Lyra the Harp overhanging the U.S., the hubcaps, and George Washington’s wampum belt and “We The People” in the green area below the flags.

The driver’s side has begun with the outlines of “Annuit Coeptis” one of the Latin mottoes found on the reverse of the Great Seal. It translates to “He (God) Favors Our Undertaking.”
