Could "The Reptilians" Be Our Ancestors and the Missing Link?
I forget who said it first, but I've always loved the descriptive metaphor that myth is the detritus of history. Maybe it was Joseph Campbell, Rollo May, or Carl G. Jung, I'm not sure, but to me the image of a pile of rubble is an excellent comparison to the pieces of truth that mythology holds and can teach us about our history if reconstructed properly. Look around us in every field of study today and you will witness the disintegration of beliefs once thought to be fast. The Big Bang and the theory of evolution are two of my favorite old paradigm theories that are currently under attack and are being revealed as having a less than factual existence. Big Bang and Darwinist priesthoods remain strong still, however, and most people remain ignorant that these THEORIES are outdated by the ever-growing evidence showing serious cracks in their foundations. It may be a long time coming, but I'm sure that Milton's "Aeriopigicta" will prove itself in the end -- and truth will win out (eventually).
The Old Testament is also undergoing a reexamination recently with collected scholarship showing this revered text is merely a severely edited version of its original source material in Sumerian, Indian, Egyptian or even beyond our planet/solar system. The Book of Genesis, in particular, shows the heavy hands of its editors.
About ten years ago I had the privilege of interviewing Rene Andrew Boulay on his work, Flying Serpents and Dragons: The Story of Mankind's Reptilian Past, and when I discovered a revised and expanded edition of his work by the Book Tree (1-800-700-TREE), I immediately scheduled him for a follow-up interview. He joined 21st Century Radio in March 2001 and described the three most important sources referenced in his work: Immanuel Velikovsky, Erich von Daniken and Zecharia Sitchin. As Boulay states in the preface to his book:
Immanuel Velikovsky reintroduced the theory of catastrophic evolution in the 1950s for which he was vilified by mainstream science. His revised chronology is used in this book and it was an invaluable help in putting all the pieces together. Erich von Daniken introduced a whole generation to the idea that our ancestors may have come from outer space and that their presence was world-wide; an idea which seems to have taken firm hold today. Zecharia Sitchin, in his series on the Anunnaki called The Earth Chronicles, described in detail who these extraterrestrials who colonized the land of Mesopotamia were, and how they created modern man as a slave race.
The title of Boulay's book, Flying Serpents and Dragons: The Story of Mankind's Reptilian Past, is enough to challenge mainstream Christian teaching all by itself. As disconcerting as it may be to fundamental religionists, Boulay and others are revealing a new evolutionary teaching that says humanity's origins are not solely from the oceans of our planet, but also from the oceans of space. We are the children of ancient astronauts and Serpent-Gods they say. Of course, with fundamental Christian teachers telling us that serpents are the symbol of evil, like in the Garden of Eden, does this mean our gods are good or evil?
Boulay's book examines the world-wide legends of giant flying lizards and dragons. Ancient civilizations of Mesopotamia, Egypt, India and China tell of being founded by flying lizards and dragons which came to this planet from elsewhere. Through the lens that sees the dragons and gods as Extraterrestrial visitors, Boulay provides tenable answers to the "missing link;" what the "crystals" were that dragons fought over; the truth behind the legend of the phoenix bird; the date and cause of the deluge; the identities of the Nefilim, or those who descended from heaven and mated with humans, and the warrior giants or Rephaim of ancient Palestine. Basic to Boulay's thesis is that Adam and Eve may not have been human.
We are all familiar with the Old Testament account of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden and how they ate of the forbidden fruit. What is not widely known is that there are many other ancient religious documents which describe this event. And these tell a different and startling story!
For example, according to sources in the Haggadah, the wellspring of Jewish oral tradition, the consequences of their eating the forbidden fruit is described this way:
The first result was that Adam and Eve became naked. Before, their bodies had been overlaid with a horny skin and enveloped with the cloud of glory. No sooner had they violated the command given them then the cloud of glory and the horny skin dropped from them, and they stood there in their nakedness and ashamed (emphasis ours).
In another early source, a Christian Gnostic tract that dates to the First Century A.D., the same episode is described as follows:
Now Eve believed the words of the serpent. She looked at the tree. She took some of its fruit and ate, and she gave to her husband also, and he ate too. Then their mind opened. For when they ate, the light of knowledge shone for them; they knew that they were naked with regard to knowledge. When they saw their makers, they loathed them since they were beastly forms. They understood very much.
These are but two of the many references in early religious literature which indicate that the Adam and Eve of the Garden of Eden were physically different from Modern man. There are also many myths of ancient Mesopotamia which reveal that our ancestors may have been reptilian types -- the "horny skin" and "cloud of glory" referring to their lustrous reptilian hide.
Since Adam and Eve were created in "the image of god" it is evident that our ancient gods were not human mammals like us but an alien reptilian form. Perhaps this is why the ancient gods did not want to be seen by mankind. (Boulay, page 1)
Unfortunately, with a mainstream media that is willing to accept without question the explanations like 6 foot crash dummies in the 1950s being the explanation for 3 foot alien bodies in the 1940s, it is unlikely that they will take very kindly to a new theory presented to them about the origins of mankind being a dragon or lizard race from outer space! And with members of the CIA on all the staffs of all the papers of record, it's likely their ability to keep a lid on this secret will persist for a long time to come. That's why this website is so important as a place where you can find new ideas and make up your own mind.
