ICE vs. the New World Order
by Dr. Bob Hieronimus
One of the most controversial topics we cover on Hieronimus & Co. programming, even among the so-called "New Age" community, is our frequent reminder to prepare for the coming Earth and weather changes that will drastically reshape our planet as we know it (unless a miraculous change in consciousness should occur in the next 24 hours in the hearts and minds of our world leaders). We have been warning the public about the coming Earth changes since February 25, 1969, when Bob completed the first of his two murals at the Johns Hopkins University. Covering over 2,700 square feet, "The Apocalypse" dominates the room, stairway and ceiling of what was formerly called "Chester's Place," named after Dr. Chester Wickwire, Chaplin of Johns Hopkins University, which served as the Hopkins Student Union in Levering Hall.

"The Apocalypse"

The massive "Apocalypse" symbolically relates the past, present and future of Planet Earth, and the depiction of the future caused considerable consternation for many who viewed it. In 1969 it predicted the end of the Cold War and the merging of political thought between the U.S.A. (the Eagle) and the U.S.S.R. (the Bear). The series of Earth changes shown disturbed one Hopkins student so much that he flung eight quarts of paint on the unfinished mural in December 1968.

We can understand this student's anger and desire to "blot it out," because we have faced it ourselves. But the anger and denial are eventually replaced by sorry resignation, because clearly as we approach the millennium with the high speed and destruction our modern technology affords us, Mother Nature has begun to fight back.

At the time of this writing, we are looking at the Deep Freeze of 1996, which is presently immobilizing the entire East Coast, including over 30 inches of snow here in Maryland. It seems appropriate in these conditions to review the last broadcast of the year on 21st Century Radio when we enjoyed listening to a British radio drama called "ICE," courtesy of Old Time Radio buff Bob Thompson. This superbly produced piece was designed to be science fiction, but as Reuters News Service reported last year, its premise is becoming science fact. "ICE" dramatized a scenario where a huge segment of the Antarctic ice shelf suddenly breaks off and slides into the sea. This gives birth to an iceberg over 1,000 square miles large and dubbed by the press "White Atlantis" as it is drawn by the currents with alarming speed toward the East Coast of the U.S.A. You'll have to order the tape ($10 for 12/31/95--2 hrs.) to find out how the U.S. Navy ingeniously overcame this environmental challenge which we can only pray they do so well in real life.

Sci Fi vs. Science Fact

Although the Antarctic ice shelf contains 70% of the world's fresh water and any melting would cause colossal coastal changes worldwide, we bet you didn't know that the collapse has begun! Released by the Reuters News Service on March 23, 1995, our corporate owned media did not make a big issue of this environmental devastation, probably because it gives a clear signal of accelerated global warming -- something about which the political leaders are still in denial.

And as anyone who has studied the subject knows, the ozone hole and related assaults on our biosphere will not lead just to warmer global temperatures, but rather to more extreme global temperatures: colder colds, hotter hots, stronger winds, etc.

Corporate Controlled Press

But, alas, the mainstream media is owned by leaders of the corporate state, and they will ignore all reports of forces beyond their control for as long as possible. We're afraid it will be too late to save even themselves before they admit they were wrong.

Thanks to our dear friends Drs. Gael and Patrick Flanagan, we were made aware of this Reuters News story and here we reprint it for you in its entirety. The Flanagans have joined us frequently on the air to discuss their Nobel Prize -- nominated research into Crystal Vortex Energy.

Scientists Say Antarctic Ice Shelf Melting

Reuters North American Wire, March 23, 1995, by Jason Webb

BUENOS AIRES, Argentina (Reuters) -- Antarctica's ancient ice shelf has begun to break up in warming seas that are slowly destroying a barrier that insulated the continental ice cap from melting, Argentine scientists warn.

"The first thing I did was cry," said Dr. Rodolfo del Valle, who discovered a 40-mile-long crack in the northernmost part of the Larsen ice shelf that runs 600 miles up the Antarctic peninsula.

The cracking of the shelf is an even more worrying sign of warming in the peninsula than the giant iceberg that British scientists said broke off the shelf in January, del Valle, who heads the Earth sciences department of Argentina's National Antarctic Direction, said in an interview.

U.S. scientists predicted in the 1970s the melting of Antarctica's ice shelf would be a clear signal of accelerated global warming.

Del Valle was at an Antarctic camp on James Ross Island in January when he was radioed by colleagues at an Argentine base on the Larsen ice shelf who were being shaken by constant ice quakes.

"On the 23rd of January, they called me over the radio and said: 'Rudi, something's happening, the ice shelf is breaking.' An enormous crack had opened from the edge of the shelf on the Weddel Sea up to the mountains," del Valle said.

Flying 6,000 feet overhead in a light plane, del Valle saw that the ice shelf, up to 1,000 feet thick in parts, was beginning to break up, exposing patches of sea, probably for the first time in 20,000 years.

"It was spectacular because what was once a platform of ice 40 miles wide had been broken up into pieces that looked like bits of polystyrene foam smashed by a child."

Argentine scientists predicted that the warming climate in the Antarctic peninsula would lead to the beginning of the break-up of the northern ice shelf in 10 years, but it happened much more quickly than they had expected.

The shelves help insulate the continental ice cap from warmer weather. While few scientists believe the whole ice cap can melt, even its partial disappearance could prove to be catastrophic.

The Antarctic ice cap covers the continent like a giant wedding cake and is on average 6,000 feet thick. It contains 70 percent of the world's fresh water and if it all melted, sea levels would rise by between 120 to 300 feet.

Worried scientists around the world are closely monitoring the changes in the ice shelf.

"Everyone has their attention fixed on climate change and on the theory that says that the first step towards the destruction of the western Antarctic ice cap is the breaking up of the ice shelves," del Valle said.

Measurements in the Antarctic peninsula show its average temperature has risen by more than 36 degrees since 1930, with around half the warming occuring in the last 20 years.

And from The New York Times of March 14, 1995:

"If climactic warming should weaken and finally destoy the ice underpinnings of the West Antarctic Ice Sheet, many experts agree, the entire sheet could slide quite rapidly into the sea. This would cause an abrupt and catastrophic rise in global sea levels, flooding low-lying cities and countries like the Netherlands and Bangladesh."

Official Denial

You can bet the farm that the American media will remain silent, even during the catastrophe, if possible. We will be denied any forewarning because it seems our government would much rather deal with a stunned, confused and devastated nation than with one that understands that it has been lied to because somebody wanted to make more money and the country's leaders wanted more control of it citizens' thoughts and actions.

Maps to Be Re-Drawn

[The illustration on the next page shows] the "I Am America-Freedom Star" map [which] shows a new world after the land masses have been altered by future shifts. These earth change prophecies were channeled from the Ascended Masters by Lori Adaile Toye. Regarding the changes to come in Antarctica, she says: "As the ice caps melt in global warming, new lands are revealed at the South Pole... Global warming brings shifting ice and glaciers. Combined with rising waters and erosion, the breakup of the lands forms many new lands."

Lori Adaile Toye also notes that "the United States will be the first country to go through geophysical changes, and the first to recover, giving aid and support to the rest of the planet." The I Am America World Map is, in our opinion, a credible prophecy of the shape of the future Earth.

I Am America also has a New World Atlas book, and many other maps, audio and video tapes. Their work is well worth supporting. (I Am America, P.O. Box 2511, Payson, AZ 85547, Phone: 602-474-1341)

Edgar Cayce

Other researchers and earth change predictors have also concentrated on the Antarctic. For example, Edgar Cayce noted on January 19, 1934: "There will be upheavals in the Arctic and in the Antarctic that will make for the eruption of volcanoes in the torrid areas, and there will be the shifting then of the poles -- so that where there have been those of a frigid or semi-tropical will become the more tropical..." Insurance companies are in for some devastating times, not to mention people whose homes and factories are near the water's edge. But that's just the tip of the iceberg -- most of us will have a ringside seat for topographical changes in our environment. The six o'clock news choosing to ignore these reports does not make them go away. The media's silence in not golden, it is the stuff that death is made of.

Be Prepared

Such statements do not endear us to the powers that be, but we continue to say them in the hopes that if we cannot change the destructive environmental policies of our world leaders, we can at least encourage some individuals to gather provisions and survival gear to protect themselves and survive independently. Before 21st Century Radio and The Zoh Show hit the airwaves, we used every possible opportunity to speak out on the issue of earth changes and increasing environmental disasters. WMPT-TV in Owings Mills, MD, documented "The Apocalypse," "The Lord's Prayer" and many more of Bob's murals in "The Artist of Savitria," which was also broadcast nationally on PBS several times. We worked from the beginning on Earth Day, starting in 1969 with its founder, John McConnell. In 1989, Hieronimus & Co. was nationally recognized for our programming on the environment by The Wall Street Journal and The Boston Globe.

Instead of painting these beliefs on walls where only thousands will witness them, we now put them on radio and TV where thousands of times more can hear and learn from them. Although the Baltimore media has remained silent on our work in this area, listeners to both The Zoh Show and 21st Century Radio are among the most informed in the United States about the coming changes and what to expect.

The New World Order with all its trillions of dollars and military might is no match for Mother Nature. Within our programming against the "New World Corporate State" and the dissolution of our Constitutional rights, we frequently weave references to at least two major opposing forces that will turn the "New World Order" into "New World Turmoil." The first is "ICE," the subject of this article, and the second we'll save for another time.

One of the best sources of practical information on how to deal with the coming "New World Turmoil" is The Preparedness Journal: The Journal of Freedom and Self-Reliant Living, published bi-monthly (P.O. Box 25454, Salt Lake City, UT 84125, Phone: 801-265-8828). Editor Dan Chittock was a guest on 21st Century Radio on 4/23/95. Subscribe today.
